On 11th May 2022 the Governor of the Pilsen Region Rudolf Špoták visited the company FAIVELEY TRANSPORT CZECH, where he met up with the management of the company including Lilian Leroux, who is the President of Wabtec Transit company. The Governor saw the production and he talked to the management of the company about possibilities leading to connection of graduates of technical fields in the region with regard to further planned investments of the company Wabtec.
“The Governor appreciated that the company Wabtec is one of the few companies which is not connected to the automotive industry and is focused on the ecological transport in the form of production of components for electric buses, trolleybuses and trains. He was also interested in the diversity of production under one roof”, commented the meeting Pavel Vašek, CEO of the company, adding: “We also talked about issues of the labour market of the Pilsen Region, about development plans of the region as well as about possibilities to connect key employers of our region with the region itself and thus to benefit mutually from this interaction and to improve the life and satisfaction of citizens in the Pilsen Region”.
